Merry Christmas Dustanova!
And snowbells ring through the days While Father Christmas toils away To tenderly play the midnight hours In planting dreams like winter flowers. In the house just down his street, There are greedy children with wishes to meet And anxious parents who look at their eyes To fill their thoughts with little white lies: “I'll buy them all of their hearts' desires,” They promise each other, digging deeper into the briers, Sometimes forgetting the truth in whole: That the gifts so yearned for are for less fortunate souls. Children in this holiday season Have learned a far kinder way to reason: They demand all they can and list their wants Expecting their parents to meet dramatic taunts Then, when Christmas closes, and all is achieved They dump out their new toys on snowy streets And dismissing their presents, they watch with sly eyes As those more deftly in need accept their surprise. The bitter end of daunting holidays Lies not in the want or amateur craves But for all of our cynics, and sniping to boot - the most cumbersome, most greedy, sneak to give away loot. And Santa, that fox, he laughs jolly at night His task made easier and his workloads made light For those that don't believe in Christmas are the ones who give most To those that need believing with which to toast.
With love, -Your Tarot HAPPY HOLIDAYS! [/blockquote]
