The Royal forest is a large crop of lush, towering, thick trunked trees directly behind the Darkshine palace. The forest is filled with thousands of varieties of roses, the favorite flower of the late Queen Magdaline. They grow wild, bushes everywhere, vines climbing trees and hanging from branches. The various trails that lead through the forest are strewn with petals and the soft scent or the roses hang in the air. On the side of most of the trails are wooden benches made of thick vines or tree trunks, all appearing as if they have grown out the ground itself. A strong wall of intricately braided branches and a high gate seperates the forest and the palace. Dark roses grow around the wooden gate and at the top the Darkshine family crest is carved.
