No New Posts The Court of the Star Chamber

The Court of the Star Chamber is a large, tower-like building located in the heart of Glendenvale. Within it is a great library and a vast, round meeting room. Recently it has become the point of frequent attacks and subsequently increased military activity, and is now acting the part of a barracks and fort where it was once a meeting place for peace and understanding.

No New Posts The Frozen Plains

A large area of nothingness far from the center of Glendenvale. It is here that a great majority of the battles of Glendenvale have taken place, and the air is thick with the stench of deah, while the snow and frost seems to have the perpetual stain of blood red.

No New Posts Alkailla Orré

Called the divine graveyard, Alkailla Orré is known as the Stone Henge of Dustanova. Made of massive, uncut stone structures inscribed with runes, the greatest heroes of Glendenvale are buried here while their most devoted companions are burned and have their ashes strewn through the exotic and exquisite flora that surround the monument. A great wall made for sentries, but without gates, is positioned around the circumference of the site, and each entrance into the sanctuary is marked by a concentration of Alkailla tribesmen, who farm, hunt, or gather food outside the walls but often enter the graveyard and climb the wall without reprimand. Commoners may choose to be burned and have their ashes thrown into the precipice that interrupts the wall to the east, and into the river below.

No New Posts Dihurt Mines

The Dihurt Mines have proven fruitful of diamonds; it has long since founded a small town of artisans, traders, and miners who plunge into the rocky, dangerous depths in order to acquire these beautiful jewels and cut them into the articulate pieces worn by men. Children will sometimes find themselves work here, only to be shooed off to the women of the town who are very rarely seen in public, communicating with each other on paper fans in a written language they developed to speak without the stress of their men. The men are rowdy but superstitious folk, and enjoy a drink at the Coal Stallion Inn and a few games of cards when they can.

No New Posts Emaldorine Waste

The Emaldorine Waste is punctuated by very few true manor houses, and those only lie along the very edges of its mass. A dense collection of plant life untouched by elfin magic or the underdeveloped means of expansion available, the Emaldorine Waste can be known as the home of isolated savages by those who so wish to name them as such. Living very wild lives in family units and traveling the Waste, their territory has few pathways cleared by lords and runs amok with rivers and pits, abandoned by everyone but the animals and the tribes that have overtaken it. Tribes’ leaders in the Waste are chosen based on outside experience and education however as they promote occasional contact with the rest of the Kingdom and are still actively aware and acknowledging of their liege lord. Lords often used come with hunting dogs here when tempted by adventurous expeditions, but it is strategically used nowadays for human guerilla tactics.

No New Posts Lasdaemosnen Falls

A set of twin waterfalls in the mid-south regions of Glendenvale, where the water runs warmer than the Frozen Plains and faster; the two largest rivers of the land come together to create a massive plunge of water over precipices which branch out and deviate into numerous smaller waterways that continue their course to the sea. It is set none-so-deep within one of Glendenvale’s milder forests, with manor-towns and trade routes nearby, and is greatly marveled by the humans. It seems untouched and unbuilt upon save for a collection of statues carved into the rock face – elaborate and eye-widening pieces of lifelike designs whose artist history has never known.

No New Posts Rokh Tzedek

Heavily armored and built as a final stronghold for Glendenvale in battle, Rokh Tzedek is built in layers of defense, each inner wall higher than those outside of it, with lodgings for its townspeople, markets, nobles and tradesmen, and heavily guarded watch-posts, making it the most amazing man-made set of structures to date. The final wall shields an inward palace of copper designs and it expert guardians, inward war rooms and lofty chambers, and the castle itself is surrounded by a moat of water not filled to its top; instead, the drop to the water’s surface is startlingly large, and the liquid’s depth is just enough for the small, flesh-eating fish that inhabit it, with rusted iron spikes and thorny, aquatic plant life coverings its bottom to provide a painful landing for would-be swimmers.

No New Posts The Green Tankard

The Green Tankard is a decent sized, two story building that acts as both a tavern and inn, and is privately owned by Aleksandr Alzar. The outside is composed of a mix of brick and gray stone blocks, with a thatched roof and several wood-lined windows. Upon entering into the primarily cherry-wood interior, one might find the atmosphere cozy, albeit smelling of alchohol, and typically swamped with the voices of the many loyal patrons who come to enjoy Master Alzar's great hospitality and unique drinks. Safely nestled within Glendenvale, the structure remains untouched by the current conflicts, but for how long is anyone's guess.
